Default Garrett wastegate housings?

I just got some Garrett t3's off of some 2.2 turbo cars and plan on using them for a twin-turbo V8; they look like they are going to fit just fine in the car except that the factory 2.2 wastegate housing (AKA swing valve housing) makes a right turn and points completely the wrong way. Doing a little looking around online I have seen pictures of quite a few t3's that have a factory wastegate housing whose outlet points straight out instead of having a right angle on it... which is what I need. Does anybody know what cars came with these housings? Ford 2.3's maybe?

Maybe a pic will help show what I'm looking for... This is a Garrett T3 but notice the exhaust exits straight out of the back, not with a 90 degree turndown like on a Mopar turbo. Anybody know what car this came off of?

I can't tell you what that came off of, but I can tell you that it's the same bolt pattern as what's on my "turn down" style. So, you can just buy that wastgate housing piece, and bolt it to what you have. You can check with www.turbonetics.com or www.turbocity.com amongst others to see what it would cost.

Yeah, I noticed that the two pieces appear to be interchangeable; I was hoping that someone knew what kind of car they came off of so that I could get one from the salvage yard and wouldn't have to pay $130 apiece from Turbonetics. That seems ridiculously high, especially considering that I can get the whole turbo (which includes that piece) from the wrecking yard for $30. BTW if anybody is interested I did find that some Lotus cars used T3's and they came with very trick wastegate housings that look like they are really high performance. Too bad they aren't in wrecking yards

If anybody's curious, I discovered finally that Volvo's came with Garret T3's that have housings exactly like the one in the picture I posted. I don't know if they are the only cars that came with those however. I also discovered that the 2.3 ford T3's also have a right angle housing similar to what's on a 2.2 Mopar.
