Headers on a c-body (67 Newport)
Has anybody installed headers on a c-body or a 67 newport??? If so how hard was it and is it worth it? I heard it is very difficult, and not worth it? But i really want to put headers and a new exhaust on. Any advice would be great thanks,

Headers are a good thing
Hi,
I put a set of schumacher's tri-ys on the Fury and it was a piece of cake! I did have to do some grinding on the collector flange because the e-heads pushed it against the torsion bar on the passenger side. But otherwise, they drop right in. Changing spark plugs is easier than with the logs, and they're made of thick gauge which makes them very quiet. I'm not sure what your going for, but I like these headers because they conserve the all important low-end torque we need for our hefty ladies and improve performance.
