Question Trans/Torque converter

i have a cop car 318 with a 904 trans i have a 78 dodge power wagon 360 727 trans and i think the torque converter is bad in the truck ans the motor wont start so i am going to put the cop car engine in the truck

can i use the the torque converter from the cop 904 and use it with the 727 trans? will anything be different? cause when the truck ran it always hesatated to take off but would rev up like it had to build up pressure
thanks alot!!!

The input shafts are different on the 904 and 727 - you'll need a new converter.
