does anybody else have this problem?
my cuda has a cracked transmission crossmember..not a big deal, i had it welded..( its the brace for the rear mounting to the chassis). it just seems like it would take an awfully powerful motor to crack it, and..i'm driving this thing on the street with pump gas. is it just from abuse by the yahoo i bought it from?

This is not uncommon on any unibody constructed vehicle. This type of construction allows for more beaming of the body members. What cracks and doesn't depends on the metal make up.
