Default Exhaust Manifold Studs...

When attempting to drill out a broken stud on a B-block (383 or 400), is it possible to cut into a water jacket in the head and flood one of the cylinders and lock up the engine, if one is not careful?

Never mind, I went back out in the rain and pulled that spark plug and antifreeze ran out. The oil is also about 2 quarts overfull. Can I just swap heads and change the oil or will I have more problems? Then engine does turn over easily by hand.

You should be okay as long as you're SURE that changing the heads will solve the original problem. I'd change the oil again after about 100 miles just to make sure the crankcase is cleaned.

You should be o.k. But if you tried too hard to start it, when it was locked up, you may have damaged a brg or rod.

You'll know it's screwed, when a rod comes out the pan after some driving.

I've seen it first hand on some brand x stuff, but not a mopar... yet

Well, I drained all the antifreeze. I'm gonna drain all the oil, too. Then I'm gonna turn the engine over and pour fresh oil inside the spark plug hole of the affected cylinder and turn it some more. Hopefully I can just swap the head or have it repaired. After that, I'll drive and change the oil another time or two. If all that doesn't work, I have a 440 at my dad's house. I wanted to build it up first, but if I need to use it right away, I'm gonna put it in the car in fairly stock form.
