rear drive trans for neon motor
does anyone know of a rear drive transmission that will work on a neon motor? I know they didnt come with motor mounts to be used that way but thats easy to modifiy. just need the trans.

There was an old MoPar Action (about 98, I can dig it up) where a Canadian fellow converted his 2.2 ~1985 Shelby Charger to a RWD with a Spirit 2.5 and used the stock automatic tranny. He ran a 10.58 but kept burning up the stock torque converters because the good ones were so expensive.
I don't know if this helps, but it can be done.
