What size stall convertor are you using behind your 340?
What size stall convertor are you using behind your 340? I really want to know from the guys who race them, with the larger cams. From 540 lift on up. And what are your results in et and mph? Thanks

i don't know about et results w/mine but i'm using a TCI Street Fighter which stalls between 3200-3800 rpm...works great for me. i like it. (almost anything is better than stock, which is what i had before this one...
 )

8 inch custom ATI flashes to 5300 but is totally streetable, I drive it everywhere, for the past few years. The trick is a GOOD converter, a deep tranny pan, and a big B&M pro street trans cooler.

Turbo Action 3800 for my TF904 that i bought back in 1983 from Mopar for 200 bucks. It was send back to TA once to updated for a trans brake back in 94. Otherwise it has worked perfect.
Will still be in the car later this year with the 416 small block and w2 or 25 heads.... tony
