Question Welding motor mounts, Strong enough?

The Charger is going bye-bye. Since the 440 swap was a disastrous failure, I would like to put the 340 back in before selling. The mounts were cut for the kit from www.engine-swaps.com but I retained the original pieces in case I ever wanted to return her original engine to her. Is welding these pieces back in place going to be strong enough?
Also, before the rebuild of the 340, I had to have the block decked due to twist. What caused this, or is it just a natural occurance?
Please see my thread in Off-Topic to help me with a selling price. Thank you all, for all of your help with this. It was a bear, but it was not so due to poor advise. Everyone was very helpful. My appreciation to you.

A weld is as strong as the person doing it. If they know what they are doing, it will hold.

Tarrbabe is bang on. In fact, if the guy welding it knows his stuff, it will be stronger than before.

The warpage you speak of, on your block deck, is realatively normal.

If you've ever heard the term "seasoned" (in regards to engine blocks)they're talking about using older blocks. New ones tend to have some shifting in the metal as they are used. A seasoned block, has already moved, and should stay relatively straight after machining.

What went so crappy with your 440 swap?

I'll bet your bummed about all the trouble you had getting headers to fit in the Charger. I would say to keep on trying, but that's just me. Sorry to hear your gonna sell the Charger, it's a good looking car. It will certainly be a nice car with a big block or a small block. I would expect you will get a higher selling price with the original small block installed. Good luck.
