Biggrin New Trans Very Happy

Just got my 74 360 Duster back from the shop where they swapped out a 4 spd and installed a custom built 727. I took it for a test drive last night and man is it sweet. The trans was built by Klemracing transmissions. http://www.klemracing.com I had the competiton trans built with race bands and reverse maual valve body. It shifts very crisply. I also had a B&M 2400 holeshot installed with a B&M Mega shifter. If your in the market for an Mopar auto trans this guy Geoff Klem is very easy to work with and sells a great product.

cool...will it bark 2nd? mine barks my 50's if i let her get on up to around 5500 rpm... i have racing bands and a 5.1" kick down lever and forward valve body, shift kit (not sure what kind..its a big'un)...hurst ratchet shifter. my brothers 440 barks second as well, his does more obviously because of cid, and he has 60's...they are a little thinner. he has all stock internals in is 727 except for large shift kit also (my dad never said what kind he told our tranny guy to put in...)

have fun w/your bullet-proof tranny!! (only way i have managed to burn one up is by playing with the kickdown and not having enuff psi....real bad slip...)

Thumbs up

I haven't got on her real hard yet but I did get a chirp going into second at about 4500 RPM. My tires are 50's as well. I was glad that I don't need the kick down linkage with the Cheetah valve body he installed. I would probably burn it up also if I had to adjust it.
