is that they are too damn cool.
I'm a dyed-in-the-wool Mustang man, yet if I look over at my model shelf, what do I see? '71 GTX '67 Coronet '70 AAR Cuda '70 Superbird '70 GTX '71 Hemicuda '69 Superbee '71 Duster 340 Wedge So anyway, go to the tech forum and answer my question on putting 360 heads on a 318! thanks |

360 heads make a 318 breathe better, but low end torque is lost due to the larger intake/exhaust valves. bruce

Mill the 360 heads .050" to raise the conpression to about 9.5:1 =/-. This seems to be the going theory at least. Don't use the large valves, i.e 2.02 unless you unshroud the valves and chamfer the bores. The best results would be with the 1.88/1.60 360 heads. This is what I will run on mine anyway. cruzerjd
