Default Good run for Team Petty

John and Jerry really showed some muscle up front. i almost cried when Nadeau's rearend broke! he was so close.

That was a good race. Elliott working hard again, and what a showing by Andretti and Nadeau for the Petty's. Marlin picked a good day to blow up as far as keeping the points lead! I did feel a great letdown when Nadeau broke. I was glad for Rudd, though, his luck has kept him from winning at least 3 times already this year, plus he was a class act during his post-race winner's interview. He gave all credit to the #44 team and felt their loss, saying he really hated to win at someone else's expense like that. All in all an entertaining race with EXCELLENT driving skills displayed again by the NASCAR veterans over the "ringers" that get brought in for these road races...

Word has it that the Pettys may need a new sponser for the 45 sprint car. I think Kyle is starting to make good business decisions and is doing a little restructuring at PE. I'm looking for a Petty win real soon to put the business back on top at nascar. Sure hope I'm right!
