Unhappy challenger still in distress

Hello
Does anybody know how long the driveshaft is between a small block 727 T-Flite and an 8 3/4 rearend is in a 1973 dodge challenger? Also, does how many splines is it? And does anybody have any model numbers to help make my search easier? Thanks.

?? got tapemeasure?? thats what i'd do.. you can count the splines, just look in the rear seal, mark one and count them...

i hope this helps...even though i'm not actually giving you any numbers...

good luck!

I think I have that written down somewhere, I think its 53 inches, but I'll check at home. Its also in a reference somewhere. Maybe SA's Mopar Performance Upgrades- excellent book if you don't have it already.

If I can't find it, I'll measure mine.

I have that SA mopar performance book and the length is not listed in there. I can't measure anything because thye 727 is not in the car yet. If you guys wouldn't mind measuring yours I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks guys.
