Hello all,
I'm quite new to this site, but it seems like the place to post my inquires. I have a 63 newport w/a 361 and a 727 t-flite. My original power brake booster is shot (doht!) and I'm looking for a replacement. I'd like to take the car on the Hot Rod Power Tour this summer, but, w/out brakes, that won't be possible. Any sources/info as to where I can find one of these beasts would be greatly appreciated. As long as I'm here, the valve that controls flow to the heater core also needs replacing. Although I probably won't need heat on the Power Tour in the middle of the summer, I'll probably want to lift the hood once or twice and would like to have the heater w/all its systems functional. Thanks in advance for any and all info!
Greg

Give DrMopar440@aol.com an email. He's got 5-6 63 and 64 Chryslers there that could donate a booster.

Thumbs up

Give Master Power Brakes a call.

704-664-8866.

110 Crosslake Park Road, Mooresville NC 28117.

They typically rebuild whatever you send them. According to their catalog, they cover 33-73 Chrysler/Desoto/Dodge/Plymouth. (They also service all the other makes, not just Mopar.) I have seen many references to them in Mopar Muscle and Mopar Action when they are fixing or improving brake systems.

Also, they sell conversion kits to change from power to manual brakes, or single to dual reservoir master cylinders. And finally, they have had disk brake conversion kits for Mopars before anyone else did! Hope this helps!
