Valve seals! what type are better?
Just looking for a few opinions on what are the better types of valve seals. I have a 440 with 906 casting heads that will have the 3/8 stem stainless valves installed. I am currently having them worked over and just wondering what would be the better valve seals to use. I will be using a close to/or stock HP cam.
I have seen viton, neoprene and teflon. What works better at sealing and has longevity? I don't want to do this again for some time. Any input greatly appreciated. |

Viton is the rubber umbrella type. Works with single springs/damper. Best for the street.
