Does anybody know if this custom truck that was built by the Alexander Bros in the late sixties is still in existance. I am anxious to track it down.
Thank you. |

Les, There was a 2-page article on the Deora in the May 1997 issue of Mopar Muscle Magazine.According to the article, a guy by the name of Al Davis has owned the vehicle since 1969. Yes, it still exists. John RT/SE

Great! Thanks for the reply. I will chase it up thru a friend of mine who buys the magazine and see what I can come up with. He may still have the particular publication. I regularly visit the US and each time I try to find something different. So the Deora along with a Lynyrd Skynyrd concert and a re-union with an old school friend who now resides in Duluth is it for the next trip. Once again John .........thank you. |

No problem Les. By the way, do you mean Duluth, Minnesota? My brother lives in the Duluth, MN/Superior, WI area (which is about 4 1/2 hours north of me). There is a great smaller show/swap, Mopars In The Park, put on in late May/early June in Shakopee, Minnesota (2 hours south of Duluth in the Minneapolis/St.Paul area) that you must see if your going to be in the area. Yes. I should have put MN after the town so as not to confuse it with Duluth GA. Unfortunately I wont be in the area until August 1. Then it is down to Memphis TN for ELVIS WEEK (not for me, for my wife)and then on to the Mopar Nats. I hope to locate the DEORA in my travels but will have to find out what state the owner lives in. Will try and catch up with you some time. Regards...........Les Ex owner of: |
