I'm no expert by any means, but i fix and sell alot of cars to finance my race car, so i'll put in my $4.40 worth. If the rest of the car, body , interior, undercarriage, TRUNK have had as much attention as what you have mentioned on the mechanicals, i would say in the 8500.00 to 12,000.00 range. Alot of it depends on your region and season also. You might find someone willing to pay more or less. In my area, 60 miles southeast of chicago, this would be a reasonable starting point without actually seeing the car. Good luck to you.

Thumbs up

Hey Motorhead!!

It looks like your kind of in my neck of the woods!! I hail from the Quad Cities (Davenport, and Bettendorf Ia, and Rock Island and Moline Ill). Were about 2 1/2 hours out of Chi Town. Were you able to make it to the Chicagoland Mopar Shootout at Joliet in May of this year? I raced but had a ton of problems (master cylinder and burst a flex line) on Saturday and didn't stick around for the Sunday (Mother's Day) show.

thanks guys,i sort of figured around that price range.it needs the interior and bumpers to be redone and for show it would need new paint(5 yrs old).it does have all new aftermarket centerforce clutch etc.new 4 piston calipers and all pads shoes etc.(not drums or rotors)all new wheel bearings,u joints,seals.1 yr old holley 750 double.it is a love hate thing for me ,i love driving it but i'm tired of working on it.i'm up here in BC Canada and i think if i was offered 14000 Canadian $ i would take it, and of course, i would cry like a baby. ha ha

Wink

Hey Dartman, your not to far away from here. I did not make it to the shootout this year because i did not know the date of the event until 2 days before. I was scheduled to work o.t. that weekend. That event comes so early in the year i almost miss it all together. I plan to attend next year and possibly race the duster. I'm told that your car has to be NHRA cert. to race there, is that true?
