Sounds like your 340 was ready for retirement. 060 over on a block that should be max 030. Bet it ran a little warm huh?

I would suggest to start hitting the bone yards for a 360 1975 or older. I picked up a 72 S shortblock last year for $100. They're out there.

Best of luck.

you could "meet in the middle".... good country song

maybe you could both drive half way and meet... have a couple of beers or sumthin and exchange block for money....

if i needed a block for my MoPaR....i would do it... but then again i'm 16 and driving to C-Mart excites me

I will be coming to Columbus on the 8th or 9th of Aug (as will a million other mopar nuts). If you still dont have one, let me know and I can hook you up. Just let me know what you can spend on it. I can get you a complete motor thats never been rebuilt.
