Default 4 speed conversion coming along just fine!!!

Woo hoo!!! OK, I got my hands on a 4 speed trans, bellhousing, and clutch fork for my 66 383 Coronet. All I need is the pedal assembly, Z-bar, and bracket. Does anyone have a 66-67 Dodge or Plymouth who can take some measurements or pictures of the location of the Z-bar bracket (which I also need!!!!)????? Damn I love slamming gears and getting sideways!!!

Brad

P.S. Pictures of the one owner original bone stock California car coming this weekend. You are already jealous, arent you?

I ve heard that an A body hump will work. A little easier to find.

I don't know for sure if it would work, but I think it would.

I have done the swap on a 66 charger(had a 67 parts car), and could probably make some measurements for you.

What do you want to use as a reference for the measurements? I don't know if pictures would help, as it's pretty crowded with the 440 in there.

I did an E body once too, but we made the hump for it.

I found that Year One has everything else I need, the hump, the bracket on the body, all the linkage, its like being in a free strip club!!! Well, except its not free!!! He he! Um.........I was just curious as to where the bracket is located and if there are any reference points, like spot welds, or what have you that will give me an idea. Guess I just need to find a car and do some measuring.
