Help Roller cam for 440/727 6-speed

Sappenin fellas, I'm new to the site and was wondering if you fellow gearheads could help me out. I'm turning my 68 Charger into a 180 top-end, road course racing, 11 second race/street car and need to double check my cam specs.
I'm running a 440/727 6-speed, EFI dual plane, lots of hi-perf. mods to the motor including a Vortech centrifugal S-charger with 9:1 ratio with Indy Alum. heads. It will be a complete roller motor with a 3000-3500 stall.
The guy at Crane said I could run a hydraulic roller with adjustable rockers. Specs are.... 509 intake, 528 exhaust with duration at 222-230. Does this sound right?
I appreciate any help from you guys. and if you got any questions on a similar build-up, feel free to holler.

i didn't know there was a 727 available that was a 6-speed... where did you find that? i could use a couple of overdrives

i'm not too sure about cam math, but that sounds good to me...

727 6-speed

Hey Runner, yeah 2 companies that I know of produce overdrive units for 727's. Gear Vendors has a 6-speed automatic while Keisler Automotive has a 5-speed manual with all the trimmings. These units allow for a higher top speed as well as close ratio for that neck-snapping effect on takeoff. The cool thing about these it that they are both true bolt-on parts. I mean EVERYTHING bolts up with no mods. Prices start at about $1800 but they will last a lifetime. Have a good one and try not to make the little Plastic fart pipe boys cry too much.

Later,

I am working with a company called SD Concept Engineering (401-732-4047) for a future supercharger application on my 71 Charger 440 with Indy heads (now). They have walked me through the heads and fuel delivery. When I get ready, I will have them grind the cam and buy the supercharger kit from them. Give Wendy a shout and tell her that John with the Charger recommended them.

I'd like to see pics of your set up if you care to share. onebad440@aol.com
