Default Question on fiberglass hood for my car.

I'm looking for a fiberglass hood for my 68 Barracuda, the thing is that the ones that I find are the pin-on type and I want the hinge type. The hood I'm looking for is I believe called the Hemi Hood or the hood that came on the Super Stock Barracuda's that had hemi's in them. If anyone knows where I can grab one please lemme know, thanks.

P.S. - I have found flat fiberglass ones that you have to cut out and put the scoop on yourself, but I'd much rather have one thats one piece so I don't have to worry about the scoop rippin off.

You may want to look here, http://www.up22.com/barracuda.htm#BR-167

They mark it as pin front, but no mention as to whether or not you could use the hinges with it.

Just a thought.

I'm in the same boat. I have a 69 Road Runner, and I want to get a fiberglass 6 pack hood, but I am not a big fan of hood pins. Anybody have any Road Runner hood sites?

Hood scoops

The company you are looking for would be MAS racing products. They have fiber hoods for a lot of B and E bodies. They sell just about every hood with or without scoop as well as lift-offs or hinge type. Good luck bro.

forget which is which but they have a hinge version of every pin on hood they have, and it has a full perimeter frame to stop the flexing......
