Re: vaccum advance
To dave 571, MoJoe, powerdodge, gsmopar, 5th Ave, thanks to all of you for helping me with the vaccum problem. It was the wrong port! The Edelbrock has two ports up front: Timed Vacuum Port and Manifold Vacuum Port, I had it on the manifold port instead of the timed port. What a difference! Hell what is the difference, the manual says that the timed vacuum port is for emission controlled engines and that the manifold vacuum port is for non-emission controlled engines. Hell, I don't even have a pcv on it cause I have the old valve covers with these pipes sticking out of them and then the caps have a filter of sorts inside them, the valve covers do not have a factory nipple on them so that you are able to connect a hose and a pcv, should I weld a piece of tubing to the valve cover and install a hose and pcv? or leave well enough alone?
Thanks for the help again fellas, RolandM |
