Your right there 00542, those M/H's are furnaces, Fird, Chebby or Mopar. I can't believe the heat that they make! My Buddy has a fird and it has not only cooked the gaskets out of it but cracked the manifold and broken the bolts right out of the head! He figures about a grand to replace the heads with new, we tried to find a set of castings, after paying for 4 mag jobs and finding every one of them cracked between the valves we gave up.

We ordered a set of Thorley Headers for it and they are still sitting on the shop floor waiting for the heads.

I've been lucky with mine all we've destroyed in 2 years is a donut and 1 header gasket. I think they need a 12" chimney coming out of the dog house and out through the roof.

Our rig with 18' trailer, car, Motorcycle, 24x24x96 diamond plate tool box loaded and the fridge full wieghs in at 21,550#'s rolling down the highway....but it sure will be nice at the regionals in Yakima Wa. where temps can easily reach 110 in the heat of the day.

Gimme some BTU's for my B-U-T

Milage or should I say gallonage....loaded 6.7 MPG, without trailer...7.7, good thing it's only 27 miles to the track.

Thorley makes a special header for M/H applications with 3/8" flanges.

Knock on wood my manifolds seem OK at this point anyhow....

I think the previous owner did me a favor and had all the air injection and pump crap pulled off and welded the holes up. I believe...and correct me if I'm wrong but this should take out the blast furnace in the ex. manifold and save the iron.....

I'm running 1 3/4" primary headers on mine, with two 3" three chamber Flowmasters, mounted in TANDEM. (single exhaust)
It's very very quiet!

My headers were $189.00 Canadian funds through a dealership Buddy. They had "Direct Connection" stamped right into the flange plates, so you KNOW they must be newer! LOL!

I have 1 3/4" primaries and 3" collectors, reducing to 2 1/2" headpipes. They tie into a single 3" pipe and go through two tandem mounted three chamber Flowmasters. It is SURPRISINGLY quiet inside, and it has a strange "musclecar" tone from the tailpipe. I caught myself looking behind me for a 5.0 Mustang a couple of times....LOL
Very quiet in the cab though!

I get dealership stuff for CHEAP through a buddy.
I could ask him if you are SERIOUS, but I'm away for two weeks, and don't forget- the part comes to Vancouver BC.
I picked up the aluminum waterpump housing for a big block for under $170 Canadian, that's pretty cheap? (105 USish)
