Hi everyone, what is really the difference between a Cuda and a Barracuda? Just curious, everyone always asks me, never no what to say. Thanks tim

Barracuda is the name that the car started with but by 68 The street name Cuda was being used so in 69 Plymouth adopted the Cuda name for the 440 models.

In later years it is the same the Cuda was the performance model while the Barracuda Coupa and Gran Coupes were baseline.

I always call my barracuda 'Cuda for shart anyways even though its a 68 just because who wants to always be saying the full nale its too long and Most Human beings would ratehr say a short name than a long one for anything including a persons name. We always short our birthnames to a shorter easier wuick to say name.
