Question

In many for sale ads specific production numbers are quoted for models with various options. If you wanted to find out how many 70 Challengers were built with a 383, white vinyl roof, white int. etc, where would you look?

It's bizarre you would ask that question...
Just ask my Chevy neighbour, of course!!! He makes up his OWN facts and statistics

Its Galen Govier, his website is at http://www.gvgovier.com

You can get the books from him for $15 each or from The Paddock at http://www.paddockparts.com for $13 each.

Question

I was talking to someone at Year1 and he indicated that the white book wasn't that detailed. He said the only data on Western Sports was the total number produced of 1,615. Was he looking at the wrong section?
I don't mind buying the book but I want to make sure it has production numbers with paint colors and other major options.

His books only list certain models with engine and trans options. I think he might have another book that has more of a breakdown with options but I dont have it. I guess you would need to call to find out for sure.

I called the other day and got a message that said they were working on a four month backlog and to just send in a fax. I guessing I'd be waiting for a while. Does anyone remember ever seeing any literature on Western Sport models?

Thumbs up

This web site has the most info I've found on Western Sports. When the car arrives I'll probably post pictures somewhere. Has anyone ever gotten a report on their car from GTS and if so how detailed was the info?
Thanks
Tony
