Question Lookin for a good Machinist

Hey Ya'll,

I was wondering if anyone out there can tell me where to find a decent machine shop in western washington that knows about mopars (specifically 383's) I am trying to find someone with a little bit of experience on blocks besides the average chevy hack shops Ive been pointed towards.

Thanx, Tuffguy

If worse comes to worse, and you can't find a good one close by, there are a couple down here - Drummond Auto Machine and Custom Machine. If you need more detail, let me know.

I use Gray's Automotive in Tigard OR. Just a few miles SW of Portland. They have a dyno and they build a lot of Mopar engines. They've done several stroker motors for me. They also do a lot of Chevy circle track motors but I don't hold that against them.

The best small block man I know is in the Seattle area Larry Hollums. 600 horse 340 Super Stock motor with one worn out old Thermoquad on top. I am not sure of the town but one around Tacoma. Maybe somebody on here has his number. Jay

You are always better off if you can find a quality MOPAR shop close to home.

If you find one, let us know.

If you don't, I'd be willing to meet you and take you to the one close to me.
