Imperial
Does any body know what was the last year for the Imperial? A friend of mine found one for cheap but doesn't know what year it is he thinks the guy that owns it said 70's. Just wondering what motor might be in it. Thanks Duster Don

I know the really big ones went at least as far as 73.
They were also around in the late 70's and early 80's as either an f, or m body(I think) small block, smaller car, about the size of a mirada. |

If you want to be really technical the last year for Imperial was around 93 when it was basically a done up FWD New Yorker/Fifth Avenue. The 80-83 Imperial is based on the Cordoba/Mirada, Chrysler actually classified this imperial as either an X, Y or Z body. I can't remember now.

Depending on the exact year, one that old would either have a 318 or a 440, I believe.
