Thumbs up A-833 Four Speed???

I recently purchased a 440 motor that included a seperate four speed tans. I looked up all the numbers and lengths for it and found that it was for an E-body car. I also have the pedals and linkages for it. I was wondering what all of this would be worth. I have no clue b/c i have an A-body. I would probably sell it also. Thanks for any help.

Default 4 speed

If your trans is an ebody trans it is also a b body trans as they are the same.
Idon`t know the value of the extras.
but the trans I have seen at swap meats for $400-450.
The a-body trans you sould be able to get for200 or less.
hope it helps

Check the spline! How many? 18 spline= Hemi, or six pack crash box, 23 spline is every thing else! 18 spline will make your gear box double what its worth!

Doug, are you serious? In case you aren't pulling our lariats, it's the 70-74 Barracuda & Challenger.

You win the compassion prize. I just completly lost it for awhile. Large quantities of tequila makes me stupid and loquacious.

Thank you, I'm fine now - almost.....

Not all 4 spds will work in both E and B bodies, pay careful attention to the shifter mount location, there is a forward and rearward mount, some have both and will work in both some have only one and will work in only one......PRO....
