Adjustable rockers
I am using a MP short block with the 509 cam and using adjustable rockers. What do I set the pre-load at? Is the intake different than the exhaust? Any help would be great. Thanks, Tom |

I just did the conversion to adj. rockers, used .5 turn after 0 lash with crane 1.6'ers on both int and exh. This is about what most lifter makers recommend from what I've heard. BTW, it now runs and idles better

Yes, they are hyd. lifters. I don't need valve lash, I need to know how much to adjust the rockers where they connect to the push rods.
