Default oil filter clearance on AAR cuda

Does anybody know about oil filter clearance issues with the exhaust on an AAR or T/A ? I'm having an AAR manifold put on my cuda, and the shop is having a problem getting the right bend around the oil filter...

Is the filter in a different spot on 340 engines than on the 360??

You may need the 90 degree adapter that came mainly on A bodies. My old mind does not remember if the T/A and ARR had this adapter or not, I think they did. It turns the filter parallel with the side of the block for extra clearance. If you can't find one locally they are available from Mopar Performance or on line from Mancini Racing. 340 and 360 have the same location for the oil filter. Good Luck.

its a no brainer, the 90* adapter bolts to block and repositions the oil filter up and away,MP sells em new or scavenge the boneyards ,tons of earlier 318s had em,its a 15 minute bolt on,be sure to use new gaskets(NAPA),.........PRO......

they sell shorties that'll fit, I dont think the Hipos needed them though. The 90 sure makes it easier, just get it not to leak!
