Would a disc brake system from a 1969 Charger directly convert to my 1970 Road Runner with drum brakes? a reference guide I saw said 70-72 models would. If it would not directly convert, what modifications or changes would I have to do?

Would that same system bolt up to a 1969 Road Runner as well?

Yes it would. The only thing that can stand in your way which isnt really a big problem is if the Charger does not have a Swaybar and your roadrunners do. You may need to swap sides for the calipers.
