In Texas you can bring in an original 69 plate (swap meet) and register your car with that plate in Antique or Classic. Or personalized plates.

I use 1BAD340

Gotcha,
How did you get 7 letters, form I have will only let me have 6, unless I want the little "texas" in some where for a space.

Terry.....that is a replicated plate. There is a rumor that Texas will have a 7 letter plate, dropping the space you mentioned. My legal plate is the 1969 white plate. You probably know this, but the even years were black and the odd years white. 68 is the Hemisfair issue. I had these made thru Hemmings, and do run them now that the sticker is on the windshield and have never been questioned. I believe they are also going to drop the entire front plate requirement. I use the Mopar Performance plates on all the vehicles (front) They used to stop me occassionally, but have given up.

1FSTDART (Comploments of the wife)
HAFHEMI
NOHEMI
HEMINOT
HEMILES
BBKILR (BIG BLOCK KILLER)

or just try the screen name...
10SEC340 (Comploments of the wife)

I called up and got it in with all 8

Rumble, I beleive it's possible, I've seen light cars, and his dart is one, on squeeze or a blower that post in the 10's. without, though,,..you'd have to make over 500hp from a small block, run a locker diff, roll cage, and still drive on the steet. Hard to beleive it would pass a Nys safety inspection!

I was skeptical that it could look anywhere near stock, or actually measure 340 cid internally. The 10 sec car I did see on the street was a 68 datsun with a huge sprayer bar.
