R/T Vs. SS/T

I haven't had too many races since I moved to South Dakota. Actually I've only had one that lasted long enough to count as a race. I was just driving around one night right after I got here. This blue Neon R/T pulls along beside me and he started edging past me then slowing down. After he did this a few times I new he wanted to try me. I thought the Neon would get me since we were already rolling pretty good but I gave it some gas anyways. Once he started going I nailed it and I got a good lead on him pretty quick. I let off and he caught me then I floored it and pulled away. We did that three times and then I realised I was doing 95mph into a neighborhood. I slowed down and thought I would try it from a light. My lane turned out to be right turn only though. when we stopped I looked over and gave him a friendly wave. He did his best to wave back in a friendly manner but he seemed kind of ticked and wouldn't look at me though. His girlfriend waved at me though. She seemed to think it was pretty funny.

He should have looked on the bright side. He had a pretty college girl with him. I was all alone at the time.

Those Neons are fast...at least some of them. I had one shut me down in The Mighty Dodge before I had my 4.10 rear gear installed...I think I'd take him now...especially since I also added the M1 2 bbl intake manifold after the 4.10 rear gear mod.

I was surprised I got him like that. I didn't get to go from a dead stop though I like to know for sure who's really quicker.
