Help Brake # cross-ref help

Swapping in disks for the front of my '68 Charger and need to find two chrysler PN3880685. Called Auotzone and they gave me PN # 5314. There was no description with their part. These rotors are described as "heavy duty 10.87" unicast" in the swap article I have. Any help varifying the autozone PN or another source is really appreciated.

Cheers

Matt

Those rotors carry an EIS (pronounced "ice") number.

EIS-D17032

Not 100% sure, but I believe that this is some type of reference number that any auto parts store can look up and cross reference part numbers.

check out this site and click the link for discotech (if this is not already the article u are using)

Since you're going to all the trouble, you really should try to find the 11.75" unicast rotors. The only reason for the 10.87" is to be able to fit 14" tires.

Called up the local parts shop with that EIS number last night and discs are there now.

Any suggestions on tracking down the calipers and dealing with the swaybar interference issue? Also, what master cylinder did you go with? E'berg lists any '70 and up disc car will do but also mentions pedal effort varying with cylinder size.

Thanks for the heads-up on the bigger discs, I am going for the smaller ones to fit the 14" steelies and caps

Thanks for the help!

Matt

on that swaybar, eberg says to get control arms off a donor car with discs (see article) or maybe an aftermarket swaybar.

I clearanced my mounting ears for swaybar link and redrilled. moves mounting point 1/2" but I have had no problems. (this is kind of a "ghetto" solution)

I beleive I went to the local parts store and got calipers for a 70 charger with discs.

On the master, I went with a new mopar performance model (aluminum housing with two round plastic caps) forgot which bore size I got (different for manual and disc) I just called mancini racing and asked them and they shipped me the correct one.
