Default EB head question

I know the description says that the springs are good to .600 lift. Does this include solid cams? I'd like to use my .590 purple shaft... do I need to swap springs?

solid flat Tap or roller?

Seat pressure is your biggest enemy on the EB - you have to get enough valve spring on them. If it's solid Flat Tap you should be fine with 130 Min. Solid roller forget it!!! Cost prohibitive to get that much valve spring in that head.

Solid flat... I ran a solid roller once... once... That cam had 200lb closed 535 open!!! I tried to run it on the street and ended up breaking all kinds of crap. The car actually ran faster with the old school .590 purple shaft flat tapet.

Thanks!
