Amp FOR SALE!
hey all, i have a LightningAudio Bolt (rated 150watts) that i wanna sell... last time i used it, it was pushing 2 12" JDAudio Woofers, rated at 300watts each... i was happy with it, but i just want more...right now i'm using a Jenson 200, and when i get my money saved up i'm gonna get a Lanzar 900watt amp, and 2 12" MTX Thunder8000's.
i'll sell the amp for $100, including the Hi-Input wires, and whatever else i can find for it... fuses are in it, i won't supply the installation kit, i don't have the box but i have others, and i'll pack it nice and tight...you pay the shipping... oh, i don't have the manual either, but people here should be able to help you install it if you don't know how, myself included... enjoy |

Hey if I was you I would keep the amp. Lightning has awsome amps. Just parelle it with the jenson 200watt amp and I can promise you it will push more than expected. Pluse your amp is probally rated at 150watt wich therefore you are going to have more than that. I have a 600watt rated lightning amp and its is bridge to 4 10" subs and those subs hit. Each sub is getting more than 250watts each.. I know that cause I have to go take my truck in like evey month cause of a blow speaker or two.

hmm...question...
how do i hook up 2 amps to one speaker? do i just put on amp on each speaker, then run more wires from the other amp to the speakers? while using more RCA's of course... i've never tried it and i don't wanna blow nuthin... also, how do you figure i'm gettin more than 150 watts? how do you know each speaker is gettin more than 250 watts each? do you have some kind of guage or meter telling you that? |

The 150w rated is minimum. The maximum for that amp is probally like 800w. Now to run two amps to one speaker you going to have to go to a local car audio dealer. Ask them for the Y-splitter for hooking up two amps. That should pretty much do it.
