help with aftermarket piston ID.
Can anyone ID this piston? part # B-278
It is a .030 over 440 piston, flat top. I need to know the manufacture. Thanks |

I don't know, but you might think about taking it to a MOPAR machine shop, or a local speed shop. Also, maybe if you took it to some local races, the guys there might help out.

Crash17......that is a Badger B-278.
440 cast flat top with no valve reliefs. Relatively inexpensive cast piston for stock replacement and street use. Not a high quality piston, but okay for everyday replacement use. For information purposes, just recently the Badger numbers changed to P numbers, instead of B numbers. Same part. |
