Default How good should this car run

I hate these kind of ?s but i though someone might have something close.

408 sb 9.1 compression, torker intake ,750 vac carb, 1 5/8 headers small i know. 3.91 gears 3000 stall. J heads mild porting, comp cams 294 solid. 28x9 slicks. 73 Duster pretty much full weight. It ran a 1.65 60ft and then the trans went. Do you think it will get in the 11s?

I'll bet that made you popular at the drag strip!

If the car is set up right, and the engine is tuned right, and the driver does his job right - it should.

Duster410.....done a couple very similar.

11.85-11.95 with traction and 12.30's without.

Properly tuned and jetted, suspension bugs worked out, and traction.....easy 11's.

The 60' you quoted is really very good for this combo.

The small tube headers aren't hurting you bad. It's more on the heads, converter and gear. For a street ride, all sounds good. No doubt!
In fact, I bet it's fun! Knock dead kid.
