WHA????

Super 60 Turbo with a Paxton Supercharger? Maybe you need to explain more because it seems you are talking about two different things.

I will venture to guess the few people that have supercharged a 2.2 had a Direct connection blower with carbs back in the 80's when they sold that stuff.

The only supercharged setup i've seen for the 2.2/2.5 is a roots style blower sold by Direct Connection back in the eighties.

Looked similar to this:

Only way you will probably find one is on ebay or for sale by a private owner. It would be very unlikely (but not impossible) that you would find one of these in a scrapyard.

I suppose if you went to a wrecking yard and found a Thunderbird Super Coupe you could adapt it to a 2.2.

If you really, absolutely, positively want to supercharge a 2.2/2.5 and assuming finding a direct connection SC is not an option (which BTW were only for carb applications anyways). I would suggest a centrifugal sc like a vortech or paxton.

You could get a supercharger from a bonneville SSEi or a Thunderbird SC but being its a roots type you would have to find a way to mount it to the intake manifold. With a centrifugal its like plumbing a turbo, plus you could probably mount it where the AC compressor goes.

Probably go with carbs or turbo electronics. I would think that you could do it on TBI converted to MPI with a rising rate fuel pressure regulator, except there might be a possibility that the computer will be confused by positive pressure readings in the MAP sensor. I am not sure.

i dont gota pic of my buddies yet but his has a shaft that runs the whole length of the front of the motor and sits where his airbox/battery used to be(battry in the trunk now) i been in his car and have seen the boost gauge sit right on 30 psi and he has never blown it up yet.......yet anyway and he also has a super 70 turbo kit on the car as well but no intercooler...apparently the sc does that for you.

those DC/B&M blowers really werent good. A few guys have tried to make them work but tuning the engine to them is a pain. And you're boost limited with them. They prefered a turbo.

I thought that my 2.2 turbo motor (non intercooled) with small intake, boosting 16-17 psi was good.

It does 16 to 17 psi until the over boost protection shuts it down momentary.

No just a MP computer with 903 injectors. It has a 42 or 46mm throttle body, somethink like that. It is supposed to have a 48mm I think. I get all the numbers mixed up. Oh and it has a MSD system also but that did nothing noticeable.

alcohol makes a big difference at those levels of boost!!!! just fill you windshield res. with 50/50 alcohol water and put a second pump through the lid then graft it somewhere near the intake make a big difference past 10 psi dude

I do remember hearing something like that at one time but I don't remember what it was.

Could I use the orignal pump with the windshield res? Can I then use a tube and direct it into the throtle body itself? The car is a Multiport Injection.

Also what Problems could this cause?

I do not use the bottle to wash my windows anyway. I even removed it. I also replaced it with another one because it leaked, and the second one leaked also. I got tired of the low washer fluid light staying on all the time so I removed the bulb. I never did find out why it leaked.

Can I use the tube and direct it into the throttle body. The car is a Multiport Injection.

As for the intercooling, I plan on adding a intercooler in the future. Or can you add an intercooler with a ram air system?

As for the rollcage I had thought about adding one to my car but do not want the extra weight.

Don't they only require those when you start running below a certain ET? If so its probably best to wait until you are close to hitting the ET requirement for it.
