Default PCM question

I recemtly bought a 97 DOHC 4-door. I bought the car for the motor. i am not sure if the PCM will work in my 98 SOHC.

it will work but i wouldn't advise that you stick an SOHC PCM in a DOHC car. it won't get everything it needs for the DOHC to run right.

The DOHC ECU will work on a SOHC. It will give you some better power in the lower end but you loose a bit in the upper end. I know this is with the MP ECUs.
