Default wheel question for 66 belvedere

If I want to put 245 45 17 wheels and tires on my car, will I need to make any modifications for them to fit comfortably? I have stock wheels (14 by 6) and I would really like to get rid of them. Please, any ideas?

245-45-17s should fit with no problem, but they're gonna leave alot a room in the rear wheel wells. I'd put some 275-45-17s in the rear may be able to fit 285-40-17s. I'll bet a 255-45-17 will fit up front.
