Header preferences

Hey everyone, I'm going to put some headers on my LA-318 that's in a '66 Coronet. I've noticed that companies only sell headers for '67+ B-bodies with LA engines. Am I out of luck with this or can someone point me in the direction of a company that will have headers for my Coronet?

I think the headers for the 1967 318 should work. Same body style and all. As toy already know the LA318 is not standard for the 1966 production year, that is why the catalog does not list it.

The best header would be the TTI step header (top quality materials and design and maximum ground clearance for a full length header), but they are expensive. Most of the cheaper headers fit OK, but loop under the steering drag link on the drivers side, and hang so low that they get dented up pretty easy because of the reduced ground clearance.

I thinbk th reason for the '67 & up classification is because in '66 there was still the 318 poly and the LA headers do not fit that one.
