Stroker RB
Has anyone here tried to build an RB with a 4" stroke crank? I saw the crank in the mopar performance catalog.
If so, what rods/ piston combo do you use? Are there any block modifications required? |

The crank I think you refer to is a 4.15 stroke crank. I have read redoing the stock cranks for a 3.90. But only the smallblock has a 4 inch.
Pistons for the 4.15 are readily available from many piston makers like ROSS. |

I have a 4.15 MP stroker crank in my Muscle Motors 496. This is becoming a VERY common shortblock, MM sells a kit for $2799 with the MP crank, Eagle H beam rods, Ross superlightweight pistons, rings, everything you need all balanced and ready to go. Minor clearancing of the block is needed, thats about it. You can even still use a 1/2" hemi pickup and hemi pan.
