Default I need suggestions on building a power 383

This is a first for me. My daughter owns a 69 Dart Conv, which has a stock bore 1965 383 in it. She wants to rebuild the engine for street only, not strip. It presently has a 2500 stall convertor in it. The car has been mini tubbed and runs 295/50 R15 on 15x10 rims with a 7 1/2" backspace.
She wants to be able to smoke the tires which at present, she cannot, even on a good day. lol.
She wants to rebuild the motor in a way that she has great off-idle power and good streetability.
Please e-mail me if you like at skuch@aol.com if anyone knows of a proven head/valve, carb/intake, compression, cam specs and anything else we should know.
We will be very appreciative of any and all suggestions.

Thanks very much....... Bill and Jenny
