4 degree crank offset key???
I've got the front end of the 340 in my Demon apart ready to put in a 4 degree offset crank key to try to get my timing back in the ballpark...I had this all worked out 3 mos ago when I got the parts...now I'm having second thoughts...can anyone spell out the correct procedure..ie...which way the offset goes?
thanks in advance Paris |

I could ramble off some detailed and complex method of degreeing in your cam correctly but this is much easier...
http://www.cranecams.com/instruction...ing/degree.htm Just sticking in a offset key isn't going to help...you must know where your at and where you want to go. |

Keep in mind that the offset crank key throws the timing mark off.
I prefer an offset cam key to change the cam timing. |
