Default Switching Manual Transmissions in 72 Duster

I want to switch from a three speed manual (A-230) to an A833.

My question is: Other than the transmission and shift linkage, what other changes need to be made? I know with the overdrive version the front bearing is larger, and thus requires either machining the existing bell housing, or getting a replacement bell housing.

You used to be able to buy different sized front bearing retainers from Mopar Performance, you might still be able to. Check the slip yoke size though, some of the OD trannys had the small 904 style slip yoke. I'm unsure what the 3 speed has/had. As long as you are swapping A body to A body trannies I don't think you'll need much else, but then I'm no expert on this subject.
