I found this site on accident, but i looked around and found the 360/408 stroker. It has all the stuff needed to do it except for heads/carb/intake. They are listing it for 3,299. Is this even something to consider? To me it sounds a little high becuase i think you could go find a nice 360 in a junker somewhere and rebuild it for much less than that using the same parts. Just wondered if im missing something here.

Seems like a deal. It all depends on how well they do their job. Hughes Engines sells their 360/408 shortblock for $3800. I'd be tempted to try this place out, but I'd feel better about Hughes; reputation and all. Hughes also has a complete list of all the extra mods. they perform on their shortblocks. This place seems 'short' on their list of mods. I'd call to find out. They may not be putting everything on the website.
