Just installed Eibach springs, CEC 18x8 wheels and Nitto 245-40-18 tires on my convert. Looks great. Had a few problems. Listed them in the wheel and tires forum. Oh one other problem, the price - $2500.00 for all 4 wheels and tires. $350.00 for the springs and install. $50.00 to roll rear inner fenders. And $50.00 for the alignment. Ouch. I have another question. Why no sebring convert performace parts.
4 wheel independent suspension 5 speed automatic overhead cam, fuel injected V-6 3300 lbs. Great start to a nice car, i would say. Hope to hear from you convert owners about any info concerning enhancements. |

Sounds like you've really done some work on the car! I have a 1997 JXi and I too am baffled by the lack of performance parts! They just don't exist or are so high $$ that it's not worth it!
BTW, I am trying to re-wire the lighting on my JXi so I can run high beams with the fogs on. Have you tried this? I get lots of info from the Avenger/Sebring coupe guys but those are mitsubishi based and the wiring doesn't match up! I keep looking for headlight relays and all I find are fuses. Any ideas? |
