New Turbo PT

Anybody driven the Turbo yet? I was gonna go to B'ville and drive one, but I got a virus(that seems to have lasted a month!) I've heard they're more fun than a go-kart on steriods. With the suspension up-grades and big rubber they should handle like a rat with Nike's on. Kinda pricey though...

I've seen a road test on them, and the drivers seemed impressed. Lots of power.
They supposedly have slightly different front ends, wider grills and body colored bumpers, as well as larger wheels.
They certainly look good!

Chrysler's Route 2002 (That's where Chrysler brings all of their toys to town so you can test drive them) was in Phoenix last week. I drove the Turbo Cruiser. If you currently have a Cruiser, you will throw rocks at it after driving the Turbo. It is quick and fun to drive. It is going to suprise a lot of people when the light turns green. If you want a Cruiser and are tired of driving in the slow lane I think this is your answer. The only bad thing about it is the turning radius is terrible.

I have test drove one

I had the opporunity to drive one from the dealer lot to the overflow lot to pickup a vehicle. Man! It was a total blast when you have the pedal to the floor.

Well worth the money.

You will also notice that the boost level is only 13psi vie the Neon's 15PSI. So by changing out the pulley will have an increase of power.

I just got home from the new model car show for 2003 in Indy and I got to sit in one. I gotta admit I really wish I could of drove it!!! The new body colored bumpers look really good...

One odd thing was I didn't see any HP ratings for it on the window sticker? Anyone happen to know?

They rate it at 215HP. However tests are showing as high as 275HP and maybe higher

Cool GOT MINE

Picked up my black turbo cruiser Saturday. Like you said, what a blast. Traction control can be switched off, and I really love the "auto-stick" feature. Manual says to log 100 miles before really motoring up. I have 337 miles on since Saturday. The 17" wheels w/ low profile tires are a cornoring asset, as is the stabilizers front and back. Kick the turbo in and it dose a good job of letting you know this is not your fathers buick!!!
The only thing I didn't get was the chrome treatment around the hood, I would have had to wait another five weeks.

It's a turbocharger, not a supercharger. You can use a "G-valve"
to help control/raise the boost for more performance.
