vanishing point movie (newest release)??

remember the vanishing point remake..of course you do. like in '98 and it was only on tv the charger/challenger chase..well i had it taped and like always something gets taped over it..i was wondering if anyone had a copy of it they could possibly copy for me and how much you would want for doing it..thanks

Hmmm.... I may have a copy of it (somewhere). I know that I recorded it, however I may have decided to record over it, because I thought that it was a bad movie. It still would have been good to keep it, next to the original.

My problem with it, is that it was more of a remake that didn't live up to the merits of the original. I was wanting to see a sequal. You know, one that takes up a few years later and they confirm that Kowalski is still alive. Maybe something like VANISHING POINT II - Kowalski rides again. It was wishful thinking.

i don't know..i thought the remake had a better plot than the first, more story line..but that's just my .02.. i hope i can find a copy

I don't think he lists it but i had e-mailed him looking for the original on dvd and he said he had the old & new version on vhs but not on dvd

I have a copy of it, but its not the greatest for clarity. A lot of people don't like it because the original was better. I didn't watch it trying to compare it to the original, I was just happy to see Mopars having a prominent role in a movie.

Yeah, I got it,but I guess you did not get mine. It said how 'bout five bucks plus shipping? I already looked for the movie and could not find it. I'm building new house and have boxed it up and sent it over there. I'll dig it up this weekend. I also said I could put the original one on there too if you like.

Your depression can't be as bad as my anger. I had two copies of the old movie. One a copy from the parts guy at my dealership years ago and a factory tape in a box from Wal-mart of all places to find it. And I made two copies of the one from tv too. Now I can't find any of them and I knew exactly where they were and could have put my hands on them at any time. Now they are gone. I can't find 'em anywhere. I think some one five fingered them and if I catch there all mine.
I still have not stopped looking for them. I have actualy touched every tape I have. My mom even came over to help me look. Mopar mom '71 purple Demon all factory..hehe. Everyone needs a mom like that. She (even at 62) remembered exactly how I had it labeled too. She's got better memory than me some times.
At this point all I can say is I'm sorry I can't find them. Very angry 'bout it too. If I find them I'll get you copy. Give me an e-mail so I can contact you if I locate them. it's still possible they are just packed away some where during the move. David
