Wink Hooker Help

Sorry, couldn't resist the title of this thread

Anyway, I'm almost finished installing my 2" primary Hooker Super comps in my B-body. Unfortunately, I got a little ahead of myself and can't figure out how to get the removable primary tube on the driver side back on??? If anyone is running these headers can you tell me which side of the torsion bar (frame or engine) does this tube go, and between which other 2 primary tubes does it route through the car??? Pictures would be nice too if you have them!

Thanks,

Greg

On the drivers side the removable tube should be the #7 cylinder exhaust tube. It goes between the frame rail and torsen bar.

I cut the header mounting flange back further so I would have more room to bring the header forward to get the slip tube installed.

Should I have to move my break line (proportioning valve)? or am I too far forward? Ya, that flang has no reason to be that big! I appreciate the help !!!!

I did not have to move anything, but my car is a 1971 Charger.
The engine is mounted with stock engine mounts too.
Are you using stock mounts or elephant ears?

Usually you only need to stand on a downtown corner, but if you need help you may consider surgery as they can correct those problems now a days.

Funny Dart

Stock MP Solid mounts. Everything is in the stock locations. The passenger side and the 3 pipes on the driver side fit great. I'm sure it's just a late night brain fart and I'll probably see it in a different light when i get back out there.
